Time to lose and time to choose

Ahh, today, was rather eventful.
First, (not-so-eventful), was class phototaking. The two most 'outstanding' (not sarcasm, but outstanding in an.. unconventional way) guys in the class totally missed it. And the phototaking was so informal I didn't know it was even phototaking at all. I thought for fun one, before the real thing. -.-
Then the class went to Hougang mall for Subway, and I got scammed. Paid like a dollar fifty extra cos of some order screwup. But heck lah.
Okay now here's the more juicy part.
We were taking the bus back from school, and the bunch of us were just standing at the bus' standing area with my back facing the aisle. Suddenly this old man came up and stepped on my calf and sat back to his seat, laughing and talking hysterically. In english, yes, but half of it sounded like total gibberish. I could pick up "chicken leg", "so cute", a gazillion hysterical laughs that go literally like HOHOHO, and erm, idk. So freaky lah. And he was being that way the entire trip.
I felt traumatized at first, then when I suddenly remembered 'chicken leg' I started giggling uncontrollably. Idk why, sounds amusing lol. Bijal was laughing too. And my giggling made Rebekah laugh. I think he wanted to say
nice calf muscles on your leg. HA. Kidding.
When we were alighting opposite the school, he said "Why so fast go back uh? (more gibberish) I massage your leg (gibbergibber)" Scary yet amusing, seriously. Reuben then went to tell him "Can you shut up?", which made the old man flare up with more gibberish.
Well, this incident occupied us the entire walk back to school and a bit in LT5 where we had the P's rally. KJ said he was a bomoh (HAHAHA) and i-forgot-who said he was talking to another man in front of him, wearing the same black specs, so maybe they were
posessed by the specs (triple HAHAHAHA).
What the hell. I attract all kinds of unwanted personalities. From train/bus fare-asking people (LOTS) to weird old men. EEEEE.
Random: The Reuben Theory suggests that people with moles in their eyebrow will become famous. I have one in my right brow eh. LOL.
That's kind of it already. Last one is that I went to Tangs after the rally to buy MY
FRED PERRY SHOESSSSSSS!!! :DDD
Finallyyyyy. I remember I first fell in love with the FP logo (I know, so weird right) when I was in sec school. Ahh, gratification. (:

Yeap been really relaxing this entire week. Sworn off my books (temporarily) with almost no effort at all. Duh. HAHA. So besides going out, been fooling around in polyvore, and been to the library like yesterday and borrowed one book. The Psychology Of Stereotypes. :D Interesting much, the first one was The Aggressive Shorty. HAHAHHAHAA.
Sharing is caring, so whether you give a damn or not I'll share with you my polyvore works. No compliments expected, really. JUST SEE LAH.

Alice: Do you think I've gone round the bend? Am I crazy?
Father: (touches forehead) I'm afraid you have gone absolutely bonkers. But
I can tell you a secret; All the best people are.
I loveee Alice in Wonderland. Been my favourite childhood story along with Wizard of Oz and another kid storybook I had and treasured so dearly I kept it under my pillow but really can't remember the title, just the scene of her sitting in a tree swinging her legs, and entering some magical world. Anyone who has any idea what book I'm talking about PLEASE tell me. (Although I'm not bearing much hopes cos it's so old).
But honestly. the new Alice in Wonderland isn't that good. Visually pleasing but it just doesn't share the same feel as the original. Probably cos it's slightly more.. goth? Idk. Movie-wise, Wizard of Oz is still the best of classics.
I suddenly hate growing up all over again. You gain in experience, and gain in that darn nostalgia phenomena that it gets slightly agonizing.
(I had a damn disturbing dream last night. And it seemed super real, and I was later relating the whole disturbing-ness to my friends, which made it more real cos I would do that in reality, not usually dreams. Omg. I feel so perturbed.)Labels: jibber jabber
Beyond cliche

"Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are shooting stars?" PLEASE. I've seen/heard of this same line at least 10 times this week already. Facebook, blogs, wherever. It did sound rather pleasant, in the dreamy-idealistic way at first, but after, it just came across as a damsel-I-need-a-shooting-star-to-wish-upon-to-get-me-out-of-my-distress kinda thing. No offence meant, really, the song's nice I know. BUT seriously. Originality, people.Anyway, past days have been fruitful! Yesterday was ODAC AGM (finally after a double postponement) and was awesome! Pizzas, snapples, polaroids, songs and presentations by some J1s (honestly I doubted the J1's sincerity as a
whole cos half of them weren't present but I believe it's partly the school's fault for scheduling all the surveys, phototaking etc. This is only directed to those who were absent because they didn't want to at all).
Ahh, I step down with the heaviest heart ever. Love the photos taken in my ODAC shirt with all the ODACians and ODAC teachers, the notes, the book and the pen. (:
Will miss ODAC super much, no, more than that.
Infinitely much. Oh well, all good things come to an end and I don't care I will come back and visit!
One last thing.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY ROCKCLIMBING ONE STAR? I'm so gonna ask ms liu when I see her in school. Although I know it's rather late.
I think I can't afford the GSS anymore. Just blew 70plus in a day with joanna and her classmates. And I can't dig further into my savings without feeling the pinch. Eeeee. ):
Gotta resort to cheap thrill now. VCDsquared gathering pleeeease! And Joanna wanna slack at the library again? Msg me people :DD

Look at my commitment.I'm sitting in front of the tv watching the
Wizards of Waverly Place movie on Disney channel eating ban mian when I'm supposed to be at
Ritz Carlton eating, well, something else. Cos I wanted to clock in the extra hour for geog. Well I wasn't supposed to be in front of the tv but wowp is too tempting. :/
Haha but Selena Gomez is so cute. She accidentally falls onto a sandcastle and goes "Oh! The castle needs a princess"
*goofy laugh* "No? Okay, sorry"

It's time to roll over
Saturday, May 22, 2010 @ 1:35 PM
Argh, keep thinking about random stuff these days. Can't keep my mind focused on geog, now that that's the last paper. 3 more hours!
Okay, I'll keep it short, since I figured I ramble too much when I'm procrastinating from studies.
- Still vacillating between going to back to Vietnam or staying in SG and going out with Belinda when she comes from Aus. I missed out the campfire last year cos I was running a fever and was supposedly sleeping upstairs but was in fact up and awake and rolling in misery thinking and hearing all that I was missing out. But if I go then Belinda will be bored for one week in SG and the trip won't really be subsidized. ): HOW?
- Cut my hair short or keep it longer and maintain? (I'll bet every girl thinks of this, cos I constantly do every few months or so.)
Still refusing to sit down and study. I must've been a mule in my previous life or something.

I've got it down to a simple art

I've given up on history.
And maths.
So far I've sat for 11h and 15mins of papers, in just two days. Today was pretty much a tragedy; an expected one. But I suppose constantly moping around is gonna make me a very annoying person cos I myself can't stand it anymore. Only three more papers! 8h15mins more of insane writing ( although not so for history cos I won't have any content). Bleh, I got a blister on my thumb from writing and it hurts. ):
On a lighter note, I realised how anti-France my mac dictionary is. Just look how they construct their sentences to illustrate a meaning. LOL. Oh well, Americans..Labels: exam mayhem

Ugh.
I still can't study.
I wonder how people can sit there for hours and be so focused. I've only covered plate tec so far. Outta like what, how many books? 24?
Yes, MYE is in 2 days. And schools just like torturing arts students by lumping two papers in one day, with one paper being 3 hours long, and pushing all the papers in front cos apparently our scripts take bloddy damn long to mark. 3 hours of non-stop writing. I'd rather get a headache from a 1h15min physics paper. Why, why did I take arts? WHY.
I still still still can't stop procrastinating! Is it in my genetic makeup or something?Labels: exam mayhem, ranternobanter, schooly mooly

I am amazed at how far and quirky creativity can go.
Look at this. Freaky?
It's just a sticker.
These are uberly cute, don't you think?
So you see, there is nothing wrong or childish with liking stickers at this age. No need to feel a little overgrown when you're looking at stickers and a mum beside you says to her 5 year old "let jiejie choose first". (:
And something larger than stickers. Houses. Honestly I once aspired to be an interior designer or something or that sort. I drew dreamhouses without limit. But I say, none can ever hold a candle to these.
It looks way better than something out of a Cat in a Hat movie. Plus it's real.
More details here! http://www.coolgadgetconcept.com/coolest-house-ever/
Been willing my time away today looking at all the cool/crazy/awesome stuff online. Opportunity cost? Studytime. MYE is like, next week and I haven't started. Loan me a plane to one of these houses please.
