I'm going to SRJC (arts).

So now you people don't have to ask me.

Every beat
Wednesday, January 28, 2009 @ 4:49 PM

I don't know if there's anything wrong with my memory of late, cos I can't remember anything beyond the past two days.
So yea, I shall skip all the in between days and type however much my memory allows! :D

Friday:
Went to Bugis with Desiree, Vanessa and Dewaine to take neoprints. We took A LOT. Well, two booths to be exact. BUT SO FUN, it's so rare for me to take neoprints lol.

So yea, after that Dewaine and I left for Glen's house. Just sat on the sofa and uh, talked.

Left again for Dewaine's dental appointment at Orchard. She was super late so we had to wait a bit more.
Shopped around, bought my 'school shoes' at Far East and Dewaine and I went to put hair extensions. Actually I only put one. HAHA. My parents were like "Why you highlight your hair?!" I said it ws an extension only, and when they asked how much it costs, I said a dollar. They went like HUH?
LOL.
$1 does sound very little.

Dewaine decided to meet Glen again (tsk tsk), so we met him at Novena. Nicholas came too.
Walked around, Nicholas went to cut his hair, then went to United Square to eat dinner at a food court, cos I had no more cash after buying my shoes. Should've brought extra $50. Oh well.

I forgot what we did, but when we looked at the time, it was already about 9 when we thought it was only 8, so Dewaine and I left for home.

Saturday:

Went out with Dewaine again to take SOMEMORE neoprints. Dewaine was like TAKE WHILE WE CAN!
WTH. Not like one of us gonna die...
We're still gonna meet after being in different schools!

Then I had to leave cos I had to go early visiting at my maternal grandparents' house.

IT WAS SO FREAKING BORING.
Only two cousins were there, but I don't talk to the guy one, and the girl one talks only to my sister.

So yea, I gave up trying to socialize with them (I don't remember even trying) and isolated myself in my grandmother's room with my mp3 and phone.

I msged Dewaine, and it lasted only like, 4 messages on each side cos her inbox was full and thought I didn't reply.

DEWAINE LEE, JUST DELETE EVERYTHING LIKE ME, YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO MSG YOU OR NOT?!

So yea, ate pre-reunion dinner and went home.

Sunday:
I can't remember anything HAHA TOO BAD.

Monday:
People came over and gave me ang baos. The standard ang bao has $10. All my ang baos added up only about $200. Depressing.

Tuesday:
Went to the Sentosa flower thingy with Belinda, my mum, grandmother and sister. IT'S STUPID AND NOT WORTH IT, I TELL YOU. SO LITTLE FLOWERS ONE.

SO GAY.

We walked all around and were like, EH? No more? That's it? EE, lousy.
Then we saw a really logn queue. I was like, NO WAY WILL I QUEUE UP. I've seen Sentosa a million times already.

AND THEN, my mum decided to be kiasu and join the queue.
We went up, and the only difference they made to the everyday-sentosa was some temporary stalls selling food and drinks and orchid.

W.T.F.

Singaporeans so smart to rip people off and waste their time uh?

And I was dying in the sweltering heat already. Ahh, I hate the organisers of this bloddy flower thing. To think so many people got cheated to the place. INCLUDING ME. I HATE THEM SO BAD.

So we left for East Coast to eat at Long Beach. Ordered the CNY set meal.
I seriously don't like crab. I don't get why people keep saying how nice it is and why it's so expensive compared to yummier stuff like, cereal prawns?

Anyway, it was Belinda's last dinner in Singapore (for now) so yea.
Went back home, got her luggage then went to the airport to send her off.

Intended to eat ice cream at Swensens first, but they said they closed at 10.30 and ice cream takes really long so we all went to tcc instead.

BELINDA IS BACK IN ADELAIDE NOW. My father was like maybe we'll go as a family to Sydney, Gold Coast and wherever next year. :DD

Unshed

SCREENSHOTS FROM ONE LITRE OF TEARS (japanese drama which is supposed to make you shed one litre of tears.)

Haruto looks cool here, but Aya looks.. less pretty than usual.
Call me evil, but he looks damn funny when he cries. xD
And apparently, I did not shed a single tear throughout the 11 episodes. I told you I got no emotion one.

AND, remember this?
I just realised, that if I go JC, and I have to take A.Maths again, history might repeat itself.
And I can't get over it; why did Mr Poh have to go draw such a big zero huh? It gets bigger each time somemore.

Yea, another polyvore piece. :)

All over
@ 1:19 PM

AHHA, SQUISHED FROG ON THE ROAD.
(NOTE: every single finger in any picture belongs to me. :D)
Thursday:
Belinda and I went to Bedok Swimming Complex with her intention of swimming and my intention of finishing my JAE thing.
BUT, after reaching the gate, there was this freaking sign that said the complex was closed cos of some stupid annual dinner and dance. And of all days.

So we just found a place to sit and eat our pocky, while I filled in my poly choices. Then my mum called and asked if we wanted to eat KFC.
Met her at KFC and ordered that fortune feast thingy. And believe it or not, today is monday and I still have one piece of leftover chicken. Apparently I'm the only chicken enthusiast in the family?

Anyway, while Belinda and I were sitting, waiting for the food, we saw this insect on the table:

And I like this picture cos my nail looks so perfect.

OKAY, here are the super overdue pictures. So overdue that I don't even know what day they were taken, and I'm lazy to check.

Went to Swensens for supper one random night for chocolate fondue.
And trust me, we took a few photos and this is the only calm-looking one:

That's my banana.

The Thing.

These pictures are the ones from the day Belinda and I went to sentosa with Jeryl and his friends.
The random eagle at the amphitheatre.
Skyride!

Belinda took this pic, and it's quite cool cos you can actually see jeryl and his friends walking over. I only found this out after I zoomed in, cos I have this obsession, according to Belinda, to zoom in on random people in random photos. But it's so funny cos they're always so candid.

Random tent.

This was at night when, to our horror, was this colony of ants feasting on some leftover food that dropped under the table.

BEFORE:

AFTER:
HAHAHA, I felt so gratified after killing them all. *evil snigger*

GOO FAMILY! But only the one on the extreme right is mine. It's also the oldest one. the rest are all new.

Random sunset.

Random cat in the bag.

Yummy donuts!!
Belinda's,

MINE!

Mine as well. :D

Horribly raped by my teeth already.

Ahh, the heavenliness of white truffles.

OMG, you can see my bite mark.

The dark chocolate one:

I realised that it was in layers, so this is the inner layer. So cool right?

Shiny pocky.

Heart-shaped choco mini.

Back in God's hands

Monday:
Results day! Did I already blog about it?
Anyway, when they started giving out the results I was stoned; I was void of all emotion.

Until even when I got my results, Mdm Chan was asking me "Are you ok?"
Cos like, it's a bit abnormal to be so indifferent to your O level results?

Ah well.
My future is rather predictable. I think I'm going to SRJC, because I didn't study.

Tuesday:
Went to Pasir Ris park with Belinda, Jeryl, Jolson, Ping, Yong Wei, Mabel, Rui Qi, and Amanda(?), and their mums.

At first all the guys went to play basketball and all the girls were at the playground adn climbing the spider web thing. But I couldn't ditch the bag and climb, cos I apparently sat on a dot of coffee, which looked like I 'leaked' SO, that spoiled the entire day's fun. I curse that person who spilt the coffee to fall into mud.

THEN, we went to the slides at the hill, and I slipped at the end of the slide, causing me to bump my butt and scratch my ankle till it bled.

Was I jinxed or what that day?

And amazingly, Belinda said Aunty BeeChoo ALWAYS had plasters in her bag, but on that day she didn't have. (It wasn't that bad though, since another aunty had some cream I could put on my wound). So I was walking around with a bloody ankle.

Soon after, it started raining so we hanged around at the shelter for a while.

When the rain subsided, Belinda, Ping and Jeryl went to rent skates (I brought my own) and bought plasters from the rental shop. Then later Jolson, Rui Qi and Amanda also rented.
I'm so noob I can't spin on rollerblades. Pfft.

We stayed in the beginner's ring for a while before going onto the tracks, and that day was so awesome cos there wasn't a single soul (besides us) in the park! :D

Belinda Ping and I settled down Eatzi where aunty beechoo ordered fries for us.

We all gathered after, and Belinda and I went home.

Wednesday:
Went to Bugis Junction with Belinda and shopped a bit before meeting Jeryl, Jolson, Yongwei, Yongsheng and Braden.

Ate lunch at the foodcourt then headed to wildwild wet.

At first Belinda and I went on our own and took the purple water slide which was all dark and tunnel-y.
It's so retarded. You slide halfway down, and start wondering: Why is the slide so long?
Then you realise you're not moving! HAHAHHA, so gay. I was like lying there for dno how long.

It happened to Belinda as well, lol.

Then we went to the Shiok River where we found the guys. (In jeryl's word, we) bobbed around a few rounds before going to the Tsunami thing. I tried going all the way to the 1.8m part but I gave up, cos my feet were well off the ground and the waves kept pushing me backwards, So I just bobbed around the 1.5m place.

When they turned off the waves, we left for the slides again.

Yong sheng then brought Belinda and I to this ride, the U shaped one. Belinda didn't wanna sit, so I had no choice but to go with yong sheng. THEN, I saw how you were supposed sit. And I ran out of the line to get Belinda go on with me. BUT SHE DIDN'T WANT TO. I hated her for that moment lol.

Ok, anyway, the position is like, you open you legs at each other and rest your legs on each other's. How weird is that?
But when you go down and bump your butt you forget everything already. And I kinda ditched the big float for him to carry. I didn't realise lol.

We all found each other and went to take the family ride. I proclaim that as the best ride at WWW. :D

But maybe not so for yongwei cos after each ride he 'dies' and just lies/rolls on the big float. Maybe cos his brother squished him.. and I shan't elaborate on that cos I typed it and I found it so mean so I omitted it.

We kept going on the family ride after, cos it was so so so fun! Ahh..

I think we kept going on the ride till 7 where the place closed. LOL. And when I came out of the changing room everyone was like sitting in a row waiting for me. It wasn't that I took long, ok? I was tryna dry my hair. And short as it is, the rest were all guys, and Belinda had a guyish haircut so yea, my hair was the obvious winner for length.

The guys went home first since Belinda and I wanted to eat there. I ordered fried ebi udon, and when I bit the prawn, AH! No, not cos it was yummy, but cos this little pouch of hot soup exploded onto my tongue.

That spot on my tongue went numb for two days.

Anyway, Belinda ordered disgusting tasting kway chap and bland curly fries. NOTE: it might've been bland cos my taste buds were temporaily impaired.

Then we went to order dessert. The peach, was so tingly and AHH, yummy!

OK, WE WENT HOME AFTER. :D

Cos I said I was gonna kick your ass

"I got 26 for my L1R5"

AH HAHAHA, that was what I sent to my mum after getting my results back today.
But hell no, I didn't get that, even though I studied on the day of the exam itself.

Anyway, the day started sucky, cos my mum threw away my school shoes by accident (or not), so I asked dewaine to bring shoes for me.
She said she'll wait at the spiral staircase for me, so obviously I had to go in to get it right?

So, I was happpily (or maybe not so) walking to school, and suddenly the security guard shouted to me from 3 metres away. GIRL! WHY YOU WEARING SLIPPERS?!

I then explained to him calmly that my shoes were with my friend who is in the school. THEN HE FREAKING ASKED AGAIN. So I tried explaining again, but he just ignored me and called another security guard to come.
At this point I was thinking; Is this security guard dumb, retarded or stupid?

So no choice, I called dewaine to walk out to the gate.
By then the other security guard just arrived and were discussing some dumb, retarded stuff about my slippers. While Dewaine was still walking I tried explaining to the OTHER security guard but he seemed dumb/ retarded/ stupid as well, but not as bad, cos he realised what was happening by the time Dewaine came and pulled out the shoes from her bag.

And then just before I was gonna change into the shoes, Mrs L.Teo came into the school AND THEY FREAKING STARTED COMPLAINING ABOUT ME. I swear I would've punched him if I weren't a Canossian. Oh wait, technically, I've graduated so YEA! But once a Canossian, forever a Canossian; there's no real graduating. Oh well.

But one question:
Why they allow people with dyed hair and everything to enter the school, then don't let me enter with slippers?

Oh wait, I just forgot they were dumb, retarded AND stupid.

About my results, THEY ARE CONFIDENTIAL, in Mdm Aznah's words. :D
I'm applicable for JC though. :D

It's like a bedtime story
Sunday, January 11, 2009 @ 4:50 PM

Friday:
Met Dewaine, Heydi and Heydi's friend and went to SRJC's open house. Seriously; it looks like no one really wants to go there. Cos their open house is erm...well, not very well-received from what I saw.

But it's kinda good that way since you get attention as an individual. You get your own guides who are pretty friendly and helpful, even though Dewaine and I didn't really have the intention of entering the school.

Left after about an hour, then went to Orchard.

Dewaine and I kinda 'drifted' away from Heydi and her friend so we shopped on our own before meeting Glen and his friend.

I don't know Glen but I think I've met him before at the DXO Rock On thing. Not sure..but I know that was where I first got to know Jillyn. And because the world is so small and Singapore is way smaller, our social circles overlap and one friend knows another without you knowing. Ok, that just sounded rather confusing.

Glen's friend actually shook hands and introduced himself. So formal. I've never seen a peer do it, lol. Went shopping altogether, and dewaine, I think I wanna buy that plain white shoe with the cool sole. HAHA.

Spent that afternoon with the three of them, then took the train home. ALL BY MYSELF. Ahh, so tormentous. Especially when it's peak hour and you're being helplessly violated untill you cannot be further violated, and this China woman has to randomly jump and smash herself in just before the door closes, causing the indian man in front of you to step on your slipper. She was wearing this blue cheongsam with LACEY LEGGINGS that ended at her knees. OMG. And she still dared to say SHIT! when she smashed herself in.
Can I throw shit at her?
No, just kidding.

(And I just got reminded of wednesday when the train was relatively quiet and suddenly there was shouting. At first we thought "Whoa, what language is that?" then you realise it's Chinese. With the bloddy strong China accent. And she was freaking screaming over the phone like the world was gonna end if she didn't do it. Geez. So disturbing. And I don't know why, maybe it's just me, but China women dress really horribly.)

Saturday:
Went to Ngee Ann Poly's open house with Alina, Sarah, Dewaine and Rachel, and the number of people who went for the open house was like, 1000 times more than that who went for SRJC's. Well, maybe cos it's a poly, or maybe cos there was the campus superstar thing.

Walked around the school, which is practically a hill. Yea, we didn't take the tour bus. We're not that old yet.

All in all, I still don't think I'd go there cos it's so freaking far.

Went to Orchard again with Dewaine, and when we were walking past Wisma, this guy with an accent came to us and said he was from imodels international. He gave us his card and took down our contacts. BUT, I've decided to reject them if they ever call. Cos I heard a freaking portfolio is $680. Rip-off much?

And, I think this guy's blog is damn helpful.
http://iatrogen1c.livejournal.com/69480.html

So yea, anyway I don't have ambitions of being a model. I want something more practical and something I can boast about, and when I say something I can boast about, I mean based on my smarts.

Well anyway we shopped around, popped by the shop where Alger was working at, but it's kinda cool, cos like I don't have any fate at all with the Ng borthers, so like yea.. Cos you see,

1. I'm online A LOT, and they're online really rarely. (Except recently) But when I sign out, they happen to sign in, and vice versa.

2. When looking for the shop, we actually walked right past the shop he was working in and started searching from the other end.

No fate is pretty cool when it's this exaggerating.

Went to eat at Yoshinoya then went to sit outside NgeeAnn City. Then this woman came to ask to do this really long survey. Was about advertisements about this drug-free thing. Was so disorganised though. Oh, and one of the questions was about my monthy income, so the options ranged from 'up to $750' to 'above $10 000'. And I was thinking about MY income as a student, so I chose the first option, HAHA, then I thought more after saying it, then said WAIT! Is it for my parents or myself? Then she said my enitire family. =.= How retarded was my answer? Anyway, I looked at the options again, but no point anyway, cos I didn't exactly know how much my parents earn. Well, obviously more than $750 lah, DUH.

Then she took down my contacts for verification purposes. I gave my phone number to two strangers today. o__o

Am I busy or am I busy?
Friday, January 09, 2009 @ 9:56 PM

Monday:
I can't remember anything at all. o__o

Tuesday:
Met Dewaine and her sister at Eastpoint, ate this really yucky meepok noodles for lunch, listened to Dewaine's 'stories', then went to Bugis.

I really hate Bugis street, so we didn't go there. :D
But left Bugis really quick anyway, and headed for Orchard. Kinda shopped a bit, bought presents then went home.

Nothing that special, I guess.

Wednesday:
Went to Suntec with Belinda since she wanted to, bought really cheap clothes to like, wear at home. HAHA. Ok, maybe also to go downstairs to buy food too.

Bought FOOD. Like donuts from donut factory. Then when we were at mini toons, so funny cos we went high with the GOOs a.k.a. tortoises. As in the stuff toys. Bought a few, then went home I think.

Thursday:
Belinda and I met Jeryl at the uh, in his words, the 'flat escalator' in Dhoby Ghaut. My girlfriends ALL couldn't come, which was why the day was so tragic. Well, not THAT tragic lah, had quite a bit of fun. :D

Then Jeryl went to meet his friends, whom I forgot all their names, except for Fredie since I already know him.

From Vivo we went to Sentosa. I remember the last time I took the train to sentosa, I was with Jillyn, Desiree and Charleen and I was made to do this dare; Pretend to be talking on the phone then randomly shout HANDSOME!. Yeap, I did it.

Was so comical though; all the guys (there were a lot of them on this particular bench I happened to be closest to) jerked up their heads immediately upon hearing 'their calling'.
OMG.
BHB much?
But so funny.

Alighted at beach station and you know that thingy where you tap your card then turn the thing to go through? I got stuck there for a while. I got slight phobias of such stuff actually.. but not as bad as the usual MRT station ones. It's like they can KIAP you and you DIE.

We wanted to all go take the skyride but Belinda was scared of heights, so we got kinda stalled. But it was a blessing in disguise actually.

Cos you see, cos of all the time wasted, it started drizzling. Imgaine if we went straightaway; we would have been stuck on top, possibly drenched with the rainwater.
So because we were loitering at the ticket counter, we waited for the shower to end before going up the skyride. :D

On the skyride I kicked the toboggan/ go-kart thingy dangling at the bottom of the skyride bench, and my slippers nearly came off. I got so freaked for a split second cos I wouldn't be able to retrieve it, like that unlucky owner of that lone slipper on the ground.

Halfway through the ride I wanted to take the camera from Belinda's bag, and I hit the waterbottle by accident such that the lid came off and it started flowing like nobody's business. AHAHHA, omg, you should've seen how angry Belinda was for those few seconds cos it all spilled on her shorts. *evil snigger*

OOO, maybe, someone though she peed or something. *evil-er snigger*

Anyway, we walked around Sentosa, and tourists kept asking us (actually only Belinda and I) to take pictures for them. They all speak English though, which was good. Cos the CHINA IMMIGRANTS ARE SO DOMINATING SINGAPORE ONCE AGAIN. Seriously; I think in a few decades, English might no longer be our most commonly used official language. It might change to Chinese, and whatever language the Bangladeshi people speak. Yea, and they think it's a good idea to solve our ageing population. I'd rather see old people of my own kind in my own country than see a million other foreigners speaking my second language which I'm not as good in/ some other language I dont even know. It makes me want to migate even more. Singapore government damn smart lah.

Oh crap, I'm digressing. So, after some time we finally went to the beach. Actually Belinda and I reached faster cos we were on the skyride while the guys took the go-kart thingy. Then they found us. Belinda and I went to check out the waters, and when I was walking towards the sea, I suddenly stopped cos theres were many small cone thingys there. Belinda got so scared cos she said that cone thingys have this small tongue in them and when you ste on them or go really near them they stick the tongue out and sting you and you DIE.

But I won't die so early.

Belinda and I were writing and doodling on the sand while Jeryl and his friends were at the rocks and it was so funny when they suddnely went NOOOOO!! cos their wafer dropped into the crack? LOL.

Anyway, Belinda and I decided to go to another beach, the one which I first saw jellies/ jellyfishes. But we went the wrong way and we only realised after so long. Turned back and saw Jeryl on the way, so told him we were going to 7-eleven first and just walked on.

And later on because Belinda and I 'fleeted' from place to place too much, we split group.

Ah well, settled at the intended beach after buying our icecreams from 7-eleven and left cos we couldn't find the jellies. :(

Decided to catch a movie before going home, so we went to the Tampines Mall one to watch Yes Man. It was almost as good as Bedtime Stories, like on the comedy side, but the ending was weird. Like, why were the people naked? o_O

Oh yea, we ate at Pasta Mania too. The beef lasagne kinda got smaller than last time. LOL.

I saw saw
Tuesday, January 06, 2009 @ 10:29 PM

Yansheng Lim asked me to post my impromtu Jigsaw (the target face fella) poem here even though it's so darn lame.

I saw Saw(my shortform for Jigsaw)
And i sat on a seesaw.
And under the seesaw,
I saw Saw.
I ran away from Saw.
But he saw me too.
He sawed me...

And that was the last time i saw Saw.

Hey, yea, I'm gonna watch Saw online now. HAAHA.

Awesome or ugly? I don't know.
But I know I made it. HAHA.

Random pictures post
Sunday, January 04, 2009 @ 4:15 PM

These are really random pictures taken on random days, by a random me.
I thought I had a lot, but I forgot they were the zoo ones only. Yea, the zoo ones..at least like a hundred of them. I'm lazy to upload. So, I shall upload only one picture of it here, which happens to be not of an animal in the zoo but instead of a pavillion. I like it anyway:

Macro of ants!

The icecream.

I was in the car when I took this.

Another car shot.
ANOTHER car shot. At the place (I think somewhere in NUS?) where I had my (maternal side) family dinner.
My grandmother asked Belinda and I to help peel hard boiled eggs and this quail egg is so cool! It's like half, lol.

I was in the cab, looking at the man and old man who were looking out of their windows.

Uh, a rather unglamorous advertisement of Gain City? And yea, I was in the cab.

At the playground in Tampines. I was messing with the focus again.

Outside the Chinese Gardens, on the way to the tortoise/turtle museum.

Overdue pictures(2)! Family christmas chalet
@ 3:42 PM

This is Charlotte. We call her fishball.
Jeryl, is it just me or does she look a bit like you in this picture? Like, the eyes.

This one is Andreena. In the background, the girl on the left is Hazel (Charlotte's sister), and the boy is my one and only nephew, and the one at the bottom is Melia.
(Melia, Braxton and Andreena are siblings).

Babies will always be fascinated by balloons.

She sleep until damn shiok. LOL.

Charlotte drinking her milk.

This was the next morning at the mini funfair thingy. BUBBLES.

This was the tiny ferris wheel I had to sit with Hazel.
The party spray thing!

Belinda, the BigBang fan, made this from my bead thing.

I totally destroyed my home with the party spray. HAHA I did clean it up lah. I'm a responsible individual.
That girl is Melia, btw.
The disaster on the floor.

Ahh, I still got so many pictures. I suppose one more picture post wouldn't hurt.
