I'm queen of hearts, you're my king of clubs
Sunday, June 20, 2010 @ 9:07 PM

Went to Marina barrage again with the ODACians! :D Mostly seniors lol. Didn't get sunburnt this time! 'cept my finger. Very odd, yes. Camwhored as usual then dinner at sukiya though was broke ( was supposed to go home for dinner so didn't bring dinner money ): )

So today's Father's day, went to this seafood restaurant to eat, and it confirmed once again that Singapore has really really bad customer service. And I'm definitely not being picky; I'm like the most tolerant of bad service in the family already.

BTW, I havent started on my hol hw. Let alone study. I foresee my doom. For A's, obviously.

Beyond cliche

"Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are shooting stars?"

PLEASE. I've seen/heard of this same line at least 10 times this week already. Facebook, blogs, wherever. It did sound rather pleasant, in the dreamy-idealistic way at first, but after, it just came across as a damsel-I-need-a-shooting-star-to-wish-upon-to-get-me-out-of-my-distress kinda thing. No offence meant, really, the song's nice I know. BUT seriously. Originality, people.

Anyway, past days have been fruitful! Yesterday was ODAC AGM (finally after a double postponement) and was awesome! Pizzas, snapples, polaroids, songs and presentations by some J1s (honestly I doubted the J1's sincerity as a whole cos half of them weren't present but I believe it's partly the school's fault for scheduling all the surveys, phototaking etc. This is only directed to those who were absent because they didn't want to at all).
Ahh, I step down with the heaviest heart ever. Love the photos taken in my ODAC shirt with all the ODACians and ODAC teachers, the notes, the book and the pen. (:
Will miss ODAC super much, no, more than that. Infinitely much. Oh well, all good things come to an end and I don't care I will come back and visit!

One last thing. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY ROCKCLIMBING ONE STAR? I'm so gonna ask ms liu when I see her in school. Although I know it's rather late.

I think I can't afford the GSS anymore. Just blew 70plus in a day with joanna and her classmates. And I can't dig further into my savings without feeling the pinch. Eeeee. ):
Gotta resort to cheap thrill now. VCDsquared gathering pleeeease! And Joanna wanna slack at the library again? Msg me people :DD

When I was a child, everybody smiled.

Photobucket

Weeks have gone by.

No, I haven't been that happy, but neither am I very stressed.
Let's start with the not-so-good. Which is actually perhaps just a rant of a clash of ideals.

So, it was just an ordinary schoolday, ordinary lecture, and I was feeling unordinarily thirsty. Obviously I took out my waterbottle and left it there for the sake of convenience. But as we were moving out of the LT, I left my poor waterbottle there.

What happened to it? Thrown away by some teacher whose name I shall not mention cos I believe it wasn't entirely his decision to do so. (I found out cos people saw him doing it, and told me.)

Later that day was the release of the A level PW results. Still slightly disturbed about my bottle but heck, cos it holds little value in the context of results. But instead of seeing the PW HOD on the stage, we saw the principal. With trashbags, on the stage.

Puzzling huh. He said those bags contained whatever we left behind after lectures. (Yes, including my bottle). He went on to describe how cleaners are always 'armed' and ready to clear anything left in the LTs after every lecture. Why? So we have a clean environment to study in.

Poppycock, I say.
Do you think a blue adidas waterbottle makes a lecture hall look dirty? No, I hardly think so.
And he said 'after every lecture'. Coming from a P who so proudly advocates the importance of chance, why do students not even have that tiny little portion of his big Chance to take whatever they left behind? So what was his point anyway, of displaying those bags of 'trash' on the stage? Heard it but didn't absorb it cos it didn't make sense to me. But I see it as an absolutely unnecessary measure. It's like "Hey everyone, let's be so enthusiastic about collecting 'trash' in the school today, cos the P's gonna talk to the school about trash tomorrow!" Biiiig deal.

I'm not making a big fuss out of a small bottle (although it's more like him making a big fuss out of everything). I just don't see what this P sees.

Oh btw, I got an A for PW. :D

Something more optimistic: ODAC Great Hike! The J2s (shift 2 game facils actually) were damn slack. Cos it rained and we had no more duties so we cabbed (while the others walked) straight to the meeting point. Haha not like I didn't go through the torture in J1.

Was really really disappointed when the cemetery night walk was cancelled. Our recee in mr kok's car was awesome (honestly I think only I think so cos the other girls were freaking out so badly they nearly sank into the car seats).

The only thing that wasn't that good was the size of the J1 ODACians. Mad huge. Such that some J2s had to sleep on benches and the floor. Kinda pissed the teachers and J2s off.

And and, rockclimbing's NOT CANCELLED!
ONE MORE STAR (after kayakking)!

Imma find cupid and put him in a headlock
Saturday, March 20, 2010 @ 4:29 PM

I haven't blogged in two whole weeks! HAHA I got my reasons.

1. Common tests. (2 + 1 day but spread across a week)
Maybe I'm just gonna pass GP and only GP again.

2. Mount Ophir! (12- 14 march)

Was nothing much compared to Fansipan in Vietnam actually. Not much rock to climb, mainly just trekking as in walking up and down. Quite boring, and I felt like killing the trees around me when I found out there wasn't gonna be the absailing part anymore. Cos that was the only part I was looking forward to.

But it was alright on the whole, the best part of course being eating at the summit. Looked a bit like Fansipan's, with the clouds and boulders. The climb down was tougher with the rain, but thankfully Group 4 was leading by quite a bit, so yeah, didn't have to endure that much. I didn't even fall this time HAHA thanks to toot!

The campsite was somewhat much more civilised than expected. I seriously thought we were gonna do what we did in Vietnam; pitch tents in the middle of some forest. LOL. And no, we didn't bathe in then waterfall hahhahaa. Plus we had real toilets.

Then again, when it rained, the horror awaits.

After our climb we went back to our tents, hoping for a nice warm and dry place to seek refuge. But noooo, what was waiting for us wasn't that, but a reservoir instead. Thankfully my bag was somewhat waterproof, and although I just chucked everything inside in the morning before we set off, leaving it unzipped, most things were dry. Some others had their everything wet. Should be counting my blessings.

But that's not all.
We went to the toilet, hoping for at least a nice wash. So we rushed to the toilet, and saw hundreds of flying insects in the sink, and in the showers. And I don't know why the sexism, but the guys toilet barely had this problem. AND the girls' toilet had murky water coming from the taps but not the guy's. Weird. But the guys let us use their toilets and showers. :D No more freezing in the rain and getting bitten by the darn flying insects! Haha I admit I wanted to go home so badly I nearly cried. Spoilt brat right.

So our tents were wet and it was still somewhat raining. So where did we sleep? Supposedly in the main hall, which was pretty much just concrete floor and a roof, and was where we cooked. Then along came a at-least-20cm centipede (got chased by it while walking earlier) and the park rangers decided to rent us huts. LOL. Blessing in disguise huh.

Next morning was already time to leave. Final check on everything then washed our tents cos the bus was uber late, then the 3hour plus journey back to SG. Rain greeted us upon our return. -.-

3. CIP at Peiying Primary,
Instructor for their pupil leadership camp (one full day)

Probably the only CIP which I got a cert for! Was awesome fun and I experienced lots. Joel Ong and I were in charge of Group 7, a cute bunch of primary 3s to 5s, and one assisting p6 prefect. Funny how they call me teacher when I'm not one lol. I'm now a somewhat experienced OGL! Haha taken care of JC1s (actually my age but academically younger), and primary school kids! And I still miss the Vietnamese children..

And cos my mac's air port suddenly poof-ed into thin air. (I'm using the other laptop now)

So it's supposedly March hols now, but it's so accepted to be a null one by now. Monday was drying of ODAC tents, followed by P's rally, then tuesday was VCDsquared reunion at Vanessa's house! Finally! Haha our cheesy name sticks. Then Wed was CIP as mentioned, then dinner at TM with Joanna. Thursday was Pegasus OGL reunion, but woke up late and didn't go lol, rained anyway. Friday was just slacking in school.

Well-spent (relatively) on the social aspect but workpile-wise... uh. I still got Econs, History and Maths homework. Haven't started. Awesome.

Stuck on replay
Sunday, January 17, 2010 @ 2:27 PM

Spamming chocolates from my birthday. Yeap, haven't finished them. All the sweets and chocs and lollipops. Ahh, I scared I become diabetic uh.

Lotsa stuff have happened and I haven't got down to real blogging and the result is that I've forgotten everything already. Nothing much for the past week though, start of the routinist school term. Been going home late everyday chiong-ing my holiday hw and no, I haven't cleared them. That's how much there is. Kay, I'm very naggy.

6Jan, Marina Barrage

with Jessica, Vanessa, ChunWei, Junqiang, Wanru, Yuanlin and Ona!
The sun was crazily sadistic and gave us all really bad sunburns. HAHA but better than rain! And there's no ODACian scared of the sun right?! :D

Flew kites for the first time in my life, not much success but it's alright cos it was awesome fun. Picnic-ed for a quite a while, camwhored, then yuanlin and ona came with icecreams so the rest of us decided to go get them too.

We went for daaaamn long. HAHHAA cos we were looking for the shop, but started exploring the gallery instead and camwhored hundreds of pics. Wanru's camera damn spammed, go see Fb haha. Fiiinally was done, and got our icecreams. They got high singing paddlepop. LOL. Camwhored even more when we got back, flew kites again, then vanessa and I left. And I'm lazy to upload pics lah. :P

7-9Jan, OGL camp.

Was damn unwilling to go at first cos we had to reach there before 7am, and cos I had not much enthusiasm left as I mentioned before.

But it all turned out better than expected, although it rained on the first day and we were just playing orientation games which honestly suck quite a bit now that I'm no longer a freshman. Made a couple of friends from Pegasus and good news, by the end of the first day I regained lotsa new enthusiasm. HAHA ride on Pegasus!

Missed half of the second day so there wasn't much, then the last day was just showing our walk-in and learning the new college dance which is kinda cute. Lollipop by Mika's the song. I like. (: Learnt the college pioneer song too, and practised the college anthem for dno what. All went to macs to eat and make our Peggy identities then went out with toot.

Oh, thanks Joanna for the two nights, HAHA.

p/s I shall not blog about my own normal days out, haha might be too boring for you the otherpeople.

11Jan, Start of school.

Was a yucky first day cos I hadn't completed a single holiday assignment. Haha, serious. And the teachers were just grounding rules, expectations and that we're having a sucky first day cos we're already in J2, our A level year and stuff. Wasn't that draggy though, cos intros helped kill lesson time. Got new lockers, and mine's right at the bottomright of the column. Sucks, got to squat down everytime I open it.

Can't remember anything else, on 12th Jan too.

13Jan, Outdoor PE!

Was awesomeeeee. Mainly cos there're no lessons but besides that, it was kinda fun. I had to face my biggest fear on the first station already. Biking. And everyone expected me to be good at cycling cos I'm in ODAC and we did night cycling and all that, but nooo, I suck. Eh but I won in the end! :D So proud.

Second station was quite.. screwed up. A2 damn cunning. No actually I believe it was their CT, not them, who came up with such a devilish plan that we started screaming CHEAT at them. And we had to vs them for the third station too. Oh well, no grudges anyway.

Last station was kite-making! Could offer help cos of my experience at marina barrage hahaa. Failed anyway though. But who cares it was fun. Class lunch at KFC, then went home with toot.

15Jan, Art museum with ODAC.

Looked at really cool art pieces but didn't have much time to look at everything in detail. Made sculptures! My group one cutest can. Cos my idea. HAHAHA I'm big-skinned. Better than someone who made balls on his sculpture. -.- Somemore say cos 'ODAC is not for the faint-hearted'. HAHAHA damn toot.

Went to eat at BK, finally got my turkay bacon burger again. But their bacon downsize alot. ):
Had company all the way home. (:

Oxymoron; my school holidays
Friday, September 11, 2009 @ 1:11 PM

Okay, not that busy anyway. 'else the teachers would be shooting themselves in their heads. In a way.

Chronological blogging again. I'm trying to document my life so that maybe when I die and get famous as the man girl who can't be moved, they can get my autobiography here. Okay, sorry, I'm listening to the Man Who Can't Be Moved. Ended up typing that down.

Monday,
Photog from 1pm till 5pm.
Like I said, my mac won't let me upload anything. Was the only girl in my group. It's like some kind of tragic karmic fate that my LC group is monopolised by soccer boys. Lucky for TF and Christine. But Christine is in soccer girls too, I think. Ohmygawshh.

Tuesday,
Econs lecture early in the morn. Had to stand at the back when I was only like what, 2 minutes late? They got the bloddy guts to penalise us when they're calling us back on a HOLIDAY.

One day when I grow up I'm gonna revolusionise the meaning of holidays in Singapore. Asian countries, if possible.

Mark my words; I'll make it happen.

Oh, on a random note, I feel like asking my dear MOE why they haven't been funding my education through edusave for the past couple of years. Every Singaporean citizen has a right to it, they say. Then I'd like to see how they account for my $0.14.

GP, got back my essay test, the one where I had a migraine halfway through and couldn't spare an ounce of concentration on my words. I failed by a bit, expectedly. But apparently failing GP essays seems common.
But damn it, cos GP is the only thing I can pass consistently. Too bad it's only H1.

Mission X (econs) OP, was the first presenter. Scary. I just ran back from the toilet somemore. Heart was still beating fast. Thank goodness I did okay.

PW consultation after. PW, I swear, is the most redundant subject ever. As though we, JC students, aren't busy enough, let alone take almost non-existing time for pilot testing and preparing all those dumb reports and visual aids blahblahblah. Poppycock. To think it was the subject I was most looking forward to when I was still that innocent, ignorant freshman.

After that, is secret. HAHA.
But I was eating dinner and talking to D, then I turned back to face front and I saw Augustus Goh smiling at me from the table opposite. I stoned, stunned, for half a minute, HAHA.
I'll probably elaborate on this day some other day, after a special day is over. :D

Wednesday was supposedly Dewaine's house, gym, then airport and shopping for my sandals, but the gym part got cancelled. ):
Oh well, my ankle is kind of injured anyway.

Airport, went to tcc with the intention to study, but obviously to no avail. Reading my history lecture book seems an insurmountable task and I can never surive reading 3 pages straight and actually absorbing all those dead facts.

Hate History. I rather learn about the present or the future. Sorry, I don't like what's dead and gone.

Went to White Sands to look for my sandals, but none were nice, so we headed to Ehub. Bought black ones from NUM. I took the smallest size which only had black. It's kinda small, but the next size is a bit loose. Why do I have such odd sizes..

Yesterday was KAYAKKING EXPEDITION!
Majorly excited, haha. Covered 16km. Tedious much. We were mostly against the current. -.-
Nick and I had pretty bad chemistry cos our paddles kept hitting each others' lol.

Oh, NO ONE CAPSIZED! I was expecting to, actually. HAHA. But capsizing is funnnnn!

My neck muscles are aching instead of my biceps.
I have a majorly obvious tanline.
I had that fibreglass thingy on my arms for the first time. Hurtssss. It feel like needles poking me.
My right biceps are soo much bigger than my left. Odd.

Just went with the flow, let it take me where it goes
Saturday, August 29, 2009 @ 3:17 PM

Yay, pictures finally!
Cos it's a saturday and I'm quite pissed by something and shall protest by not doing homework which would only make me feel a gazillion times worse.
I don't care if that sounds childish.

Right so, pictures and their stories!

Dewaine came over on thursday!
HAHA we practically ran to each other and hugged like some in those cheesy movie scenes. Missed her super badly! She brought Bear along and we went to get bubble tea and caught up with each other then decided to eat at blk85 for dinner.

Talked more, then went home. We only took two pics uh. (:

I think it was wednesday, went to play soccer after school till the sky was this dark (gonna rain again!)
Pushups after missing the goal HAHA. I managed to shoot two in! Missed the rest though.

Ah Ben!

This is..random.
Desiree!

The day we sent Rubez off..
Dinner at Waraku.
I decided to take food shots despite knowing my phone quality won't be good, but nevermind. These are the only pics I took with my phone that day anyway.
Desiree's,

KJ's 'pizza'. LOL, we were arguing whether it was a prata or pizza. I think it's a crepe.

Ah Ben already digging in.The reason why I take so long eating pasta is cos I do this:

Step 1: Twirl spaghetti/ linguine/ whatever pasta is on the plate.
Step 2: CHEESE! Go crazy with it.
Step 3: Chilli. (:

Okay, this is so redundant.
Friday/ yesterday was hiking at Bukit Timah!
HAHA YES, AGAIN.
But the rocky path is daaaaamn cool and damn fun! I love climbing. :D
I went to play basketball before that somemore. Before hiking already look like some sweaty pig.

Was pretty hyper throughout though. Except some parts at the steps. Some steps higher than my knee man.
Supposed to have another hike at BT next saturday, but it's cancelled. ):

Took the majorly slow and crowded bus from BT to Bedok inter. On the bus there were so many foreigners (from the uh, two most populated countries in the world) and this really really fat (omg, 'fat' is a severe understatement) boy. Arini was feeling really terrible cos of fasting.. I'll probably die or something if I fast. Seriously. I must eat around the clock one.

There was a freaking pervert on the second bus home.
Eeyuck. Don't wanna think about it.

GP test in school today!

Had some impromptu interview after that. Damn scary. Video somemore. But! It's top secret so none of you shall know what it was about. Only WH, TH and maybe two more people shall know for now.

I quote my text msg:
Fine lah. I'll just, you know, sit here and rot. Maybe if I sit here long enough I'll become mouldy like the mouldy aunty (from the The Shining).

I'm so pathetic omg.

Blue birds fly
Friday, August 07, 2009 @ 11:40 PM

Since today's Thanksgiving day for SR, I shall blog. :D

Right so, pictures first, since we haven't had them in eons.
But pardon the horrible quality cos of my unintentional, uncountable smashes on the ground my phone has endured. 8mp become dno vhad. Kay, here goes.

PW lessons are awesome cos:

there're lotsa jokes and fooood! (that the other groups always like to kope until MrsT can't stand it.) Oh yeah and that's pingsee, blatantly munching away.

We went to the Japanese cemetery for Chinese!! Seriously man, we all thought TXD was pulling our legs, until I found out other classes were going too. Damn cool, cos the cemetery is pretty near our school.

Wasn't spooky at all though. Maybe cos we were in a group and it was in broad daylight.
But look:
Smokeyyyy. Spoooookkkkyyyyy..And banana treeeee...Nah, just some guy spraying insecticide or vhadever. HAHA.

Meh. Blur. Would otherwise be a rather pwetty picture.

Me and ghost. I mean, ghost and I.

The rest I took with my abused phone camera:

Was road marshall for WILL walk. Morning sun, absolutely an understated view thanks to, for the millionth time, my horrible phone cam. Tsk.

Photography class today!
Managed a macro. But still crap.
Homework? Take at least one photo, theme is Colours; the topic I was betting on a minute before he announced it. Classic theme for beginners. Boring like SHIT,
We were somewhat supposed to wear 'home clothes' today (note the quotation marks cos I believe no one would actually wear what they really do wear at home to school). So when I was passing by the bustop, all the way to the school gate in the cab, I went 'SHIT!'.

Cos they were ALL wearing school uniform.
And obviously I wasn't.
But I brought my WILL run shirt and fbts. Insightful much! :D

Watched a bit of Wolverine on DF's ipod after my cheese prata, then went back to school to help set up the ODAC arcade.
I suck at DDR.
HAHAHAHHAA neh-mind.

Was cashier for the day, which is pretty much the worst job I can ever get cos I suck (even more than DDR) at handling money and well, anything accounts-ish.

I realised I didn't eat or drink since 11am plus till the booth closed at 5pm.
Madnessssss. Okay lah, one puny cup of drink and one bite of some sausage prata lasted me, but negligible lor.
Didn't really have time to change also. So I wore my WILL run shirt for the concert. Like so spoilsport like that, since everyone else (almost) changed. Ah well.

Concert was somewhat like SAC's.. Miss it so badly. ):

Oh oh, I went to the G.O. to check my BEC exam results, and guess what I saw at the counter?
A stack of letters of reminder.
With my name written on the top-most letter.
HAHHAHAA, Ms I-forgot-what said she remembered my name cos I always late. LOL, eh, shan't digress already.
I PASSED MY BEC EXAM! HAHAHHAA OMG YAYYYY! Qualified PE rep. now. (:
Kayaking tomorrow!
:DDD

Mr Gweedee and Mr Swmall. :D We are sho gayzxzx.

These places and these faces are getting old
Wednesday, July 29, 2009 @ 10:08 PM

End of hiatus.

Still been busy, but I had a reflective moment, again. No, not the emo kind.

I'll probably bore all you guys to death, like I did today during my superduper atrocious group oral presentation done at the 11th hour, if I put it in words here. Well, the presentation.. 11th hour..like, literally. I reached home at 10pm and rushed it based on the barely-there info from wesley. Got shit from MsKwan, what else. I owe my survival to my suddenly-there wits.

Anyway, random stuff to summarise my busy-like-never-before term3.

1. Been going home real late every single weekday. Valid school-related reasons, mind you.

2. Workload has lightened somewhat by maybe a teeny weeny itsy bitsy bit, so I'm not so much of a sleep-deprived irritated kiddo anymore.

3. Cos of H1N1, we all have to sit according to index order for every single lecture and lesson. So that means Chrischrischris again, right? But NOOO, rebekah has changed places with me for every tutorial for a very valid reason so I can't blame her. Why I would even wanna blame her is cos I hate, no actually, detest with most passion ever, sitting in between marcus and linda. The stress, omg. Overwhelming. You won't comprehend the inexplicable stifling atmosphere in between those two. And no, not that I detest with that same passion, any one of them. Don't misunderstand.

4. My mind and body is trapped in a vicious weekly cycle, where weird chemicals flow through my body every saturday night, causing highly emotional moments. Scientific or psychological explanations unavailable.

5. Oh right. My MYE results have been addressed by my CT.
Study plans etc. Teachers always fail to realise we're already struggling to cope with schoolwork, let alone set time aside for studying. Sleep is my priority, not to forget.
Hey but, I really love GP. Only subject which results I'm proud of. Cos I'm top 10% of cohort TEEHEE. :D (not like the bottom 5% I am for econs..)

6. I'm learning Viet!!! "Xin chào!" :D
Yay, now I can speak to my Viet aunt and half-viet cousin!

7. Weekends have been spent with DF bro! Watched Hancock at WH's house after the usual studying session last sat.

8. I need to gain weight. ): PE reps should not be underweight, in my opinion.

9. I ran my WILL run last wednesday, 14km. Somehow 10th round onwards I damn energised. Weird. Ran with Tania, paced each other. (:
Sad, some people cheated..

10. I live up to my very much understated nickname of Plasters. Why am I so freaking injury-prone man..

11. I still love SRJC. I've struggled for the longest time ever to get back my freshman enthusiasm and optimism, and I'm a rather content girl right now. Retain if I have to, but I'll always love SRJC, 1A04, and most of all, ODAC. (:
ODAC has let me grow the most, break the most number of psychological (and some physical) barriers in my life, but it's making me 'one of the boys'. Everytime we go out in a small group the girls all cannot make it, then you see one group of guys, the suddenly one puny girl.
I really tomboy already uh. HAHA.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
August 01

12. Second warning letter of the year for late-coming. Darnit.

13. Thursdays shall be icecream day for Bijal, Des and I! We've never been so happy running after the icecream man on his bicycle for $1 choc chip icecream with four wafers. (:

14. My new econs teacher made me 'stand in the corner' for not being able to draw the darn graph and explain it on the whiteboard. ROFLMAOOL. Recalls beybey's "Sorry uh, I'll have to make you stand in the corner".
Laughed so hard in the bus with Bij and Des, oh my.
And on that same day got called to the board again during maths to do a qn cos I was sleeping for like, what, 5 seconds.

15. Road marshall for WILL walk was funny.. Day/ night with WH and DF after.

I'll keep updating this post cos I'm much too busy to be blogging about individual events in detail. Updates would be in bold.
(:

She wears high heels, I wear sneakers
Sunday, June 21, 2009 @ 3:24 PM

A little blur, but here's my slightly faded henna drawn by Reuben! (I shall ask him to take a pic of the one I drew for him) And this looks like some national day design, LOL.
OWNED YY TWICE outta three!
Yesterday!
Saturdays are awesome. (:

Woke up early to go ECP for ODAC cycling! Unofficial one uh. Only for noobs, HAHAHA, shh, don't laugh. And somehow the noob team only consisted of girls. Namely me, Jessica, VanessaT and Shah. But Shah didn't go. ):

YS, YY and Nick were there to train us. And YAY, I didn't get hurt at all! But it's only ECP.. not Ubin.. Oh my. I'm hate upslopes.

Nick, YY and I slacked at macs for a while and I was the only one who ate. YY wasn't feeling too good.

Finally watched Dane Cook, and he's one sick dude, HAHA. He totally acted out a sex scene lah, gross. YY, now I know what you always watch uh. But the condom fairy laugh was epic as hell, LOL.

Nick and YY and I bus-ed to bedok inter, watched another comedian (but seriously, Russell Peters wins any of them hands-down), then HOME.

Slacked at the comp before going to Desiree's church for some event.
I was given a white rose, so sweet. How did the person know I wanted the white one? HAHA. And don't get the wrong idea, eveyone was given one. :D Almost everyone, actually. ZL, Reuben and ZL's friend didn't get.

Amazingly Desiree's church friends recognised me! I probably met them once only, and forgot most of them.. ><
Oh oh, and I saw more SR people there! Like Rubez, Tania and Gabriel. :D
Anyway, it was pretty awesome stuff, with the game, the henna (got complimented while I was drawing for people, HAHA YAY), and the live gig and mocktails. :D
I left my white rose there..
But I took good memories home. (:

What you're lookin' for has been here the whole time
@ 2:19 PM

YAY, I GOT TIME TO BLOG NOW! I've been busier than any bee, haha.

Let's start from Thursday.
Second day at Pulau Hantu, to complete 3rd and 4th dive!

I would say the snorkelling part was the best. Saw many corals (live ones this time) and fish! The others said they saw a really big stingray but I didn't. Ahh, no fair.

Had a runnynose from the 3rd dive and I was having problems equalizing during the 4th dive so I kinda wasted quite a bit of time going up and going down again.

AND WHEEE! I got my license after the 4th dive! :DDD
Don't worry jz! You'll get yours soon too!

Oh man, I'm gonna miss having a whole boat to us and only us. Oh wait, the boat crew too. Super lux, the yacht club washroom is super lux tooooo. Got hairdryer, HAHA. *inside joke*

Oh yeah, this time for the second day, I did remember to bring extra clothes, but forgot to bring plastic bag to keep my wet clothes. Gawshh, goldfish memoryyy.

After, VanessaT, Claris, Sky, Reg and I went to Harbourfront to eat, at Vivo's BK. (On the bus there we passed by Haw Par Villa!! Exciting much!)
Been years since I touched that bbq turkey bacon burger. Wow.
They all ate so fast, kay actually it was me who was slow, so they had to wait for me. I felt so bad..

HOME.

Friday;

ODAC dinner, for 20th, 21st and 22nd batch. So few people went.. but was pretty awesome. (:

From the 22nd batch only MX, Jessica, VanessaC, YY and I went. It was a seafood buffet and I'm not that fond of eating things with shells but I ate quite a lot anyway. Alternatives. (:

Our table was major gossip session or something. I kept getting lost cos it was moving too fast, LOL. MsLiu is soo into our gossips too man! HAHA.

Took a couple of pics and it's all on facebook, I think. (:
Train-ed home with a couple of the seniors and MX, told a ghost story, and did my survival night walk from Tanah Merah to my haunted block, HAHHAHA. I'm weird about the supernatural, like I was telling MX.

I shall blog about last night on the next post! :D

I'm finally a scuba diver!
Certified by PADI, mind you.

OH MY, HAHAHAHHAA, I'm so happy that I can't find an adjective that accurately describes my happiness so let's take it that I'm 100000x more than happy, AHHHHH.
*big grin*

Pulau Hantu has sucky waters and dead corals.

But the scuba experience itself was gratifying enough. (:

Nothing much, really, pretty much the same as the pool sessions except with murky water and much deeper water, and well, a totally different and new environment. Those factors actually give so much excitement and suspense while on the boat.

I shall skip to the best part of the day;
We just completed our surface skills, then my instructor went,

You were a non-swimmer right?
Yeah..
You are the best swimmer of today! Congratulations!

Oh my, I was swelling so much with glory that I would've floated even without
my BCD. ((: TEE HEE.

But then again, I do stupid things on a daily basis. This time, I forgot to bring EXTRA clothes. So I resorted to borrowing Claris' shirt, which is pretty big, haha. But it's comfy.(:

Oh, and the female changing room was undergoing some kinda repairs. Meh.
Waited for so long just for cold water, which we were so thankful for at that point of time. HAHA, how desperate were we..

I took an excruciating hour and a half bus ride home, from the west back to the east. I was tryna catch some sleep when this group of rowdy malay boys came in and made a bloddy ruckus. NON-STOP one. A whole damn entourage of them manz. I get that a lot in busrides. So parents, (not being racist but it really seems that it's coming more from the Malays), be not afraid of whacking your kids when they're still young so they know what discipline means. Really. Russell Peters has reiterated my point too.

Pulau Hantu again tomorrow.
Somehow the excitement's gone..Oh no.

Back from scuba (pool session)! :D

Past few days my internet got cranky and so my MSN was, well, un-usable. I realised how empty I feel without it. I realised how I have this need to constantly feel in touch with friends.

Then why the hell am I blocking people from MSN? I choose who my friends are, darling. (:

Today was scuba pool session2! I totally forgot all my theory, HAHAHA. But survived and passed all the tests although my stupid weight belt kept jamming. Apparently the edge isn't as..smooth..

My abrasion hurt cos the blood clot like dissolved or something, and we had to keep kneeling at the pool floor. I gave up and balanced on one knee.

Us girls stayed back to play/ swim after the pool session and I was swimming without my goggles, then when my head came up for air and to open my eyes, A BLACK HEAD POPPED UP RIGHT IN MY FACE.

It was actually samantha lah, the blackness was her hair. LOL.
I actually shrieked and panicked. and half-ran half-swam to the line. For those who don't know, I have mild hydrophobia (I know, I know, ironic that a scuba-diver-to-be is scared of water) so I'm super susceptible to panicking while submerged in diluted chlorine water.
This is where humans are scarier than ghosts.

Pulau Hantu
on Wednesday and Thursday!

YAY, my right hand is recovering so I shall blog half-proper. :D

Tuesday was EOM day.
I produced high quality and low quantity work, which is optimum for people like me.
Was damn slack, we were totally using MSN and playing games and listening to chris' live gig, HAHA.
Nothing much done that day actually. But I'm probably the only one not done with the EOM cos I'm still waiting for that darn reply from TST.

Wednesday= ODAC study group thingy.
Pretty much a flop cos only Huiying, Vanessa T, Jovan and YY came. LOL.
So slack lah, I didn't even study. But I think the rest did. YY and I were listening to Russell Peters, omg. Funny ttm. I can't forget his 'dickface', ahhh.

Us girls went to play pool after. :D
Speaking of tyco, how about 4 consecutive balls in?
HAHHAHAHA but I missed almst every other after that. No actually, after I almost hit a guy's down-there with the stick. I got so embarrassed I didn't even wanna play already.

Yesterday was scuba meeting.
I suggested eating tao huay before that but we ended up kinda late. Earned YY, JZ, Ivan and myself scolding. Meh. Me and my fahn-tahs-tic idea. I feel so bad now..

Next week is scuba week. 15th, 17th and 18th not free. ):
Bloddy hellhole of a holiday. Today is actually the first weekday of the so-called holiday that I don't hafta put on my uniform and take the hour-long ride to school okay. Basket.

On a lighter note, I went to meet Nic, Reub, Des, ZL and PS at ECP. They just finished rollerblading. Blehh. I didn't wanna make the trip a waste so I suggested cycling. Only PS and ZL came with me. AND my bike's gears were spoilt. HAHAHHAA bicycle jinx me. So ZL swopped with me.
PS rollerbladed on her abec7 wheels. I JEALOUS CAN. People just start rollerblading already abec7. I rollerblade since primary school still abec3.
WHY? COS KID SIZE DON'T HAVE FAST WHEELS.
Don't laugh at me.
I keeel you uh.

ZL saw his SA friend and we ate at macs. HAHA I'm broke please. Everyday dine out omg.

I shall post the pics when I'm back from des' house. TEE HEE.

Happy 18th birthday, Reuben!

He's so funny, I msged him at midnight to wish him, and said I would fufil his birthday wish. He said he wanna be slim and strong, HAHAHAHHAHA.

So cutexzxzx (once again, I mean the kiddo cute).
I told him I would cos I'm gonna be a certified PE rep in a while. ((:

I got lots to blog about, but I can't right now cos I'm stressing out (yes, again) on EOM, Econs, and
LEARNING HOW TO CYCLE.

ODAC NIGHT CYCLING TMR.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I'm scared. How do I accomplish 47km when I can barely make it to 2m?

Yesterday was ODAC briefing and Lao Cai meeting.

Was 30mins latexzxzxzxxzx.
Traffic was so screwed up. Whatever the MOE made me learn during SS in sec3 and 4 about the efficiency of local transport is all POPPYCOCK.

The man walking on the path beside the bus was totally faster than the bloddy bus. Ridiculous or what?

EHHHNYWAY, Lao Cai 'meeting' wasn't much, just some taunts on how physically challenging it would be, how some people with Gold for NAPFA were giving up on the mountain last year, blahblahblah. I'm strong mentally okay. I've got ODAC, PE, and my NAPFA gold to push myself to training. If I went into CCC I would've just let my muscles rot and die, evaporate, diminish, whatever. I still can't believe myself.. why the hell did I ever think of joining CCC..omg..

Hanged out with Pingsee at Kovan, slacked at KFC, copying my zuowen (Yeah, copy. I had someone to do it for me. TEEHEE.). Laughed a lot, LOL. Then walked back to school to meet the guys who went to Pulau Semakau.

PS, ZL, KJ, Reuben, Nic and I went to eat tao huayyyy. Ahh, heaven.
I know Nic's secret, lol.
And ZL's during the PulauSem. trip too. HAHA.

ZL and Reub went home first, so PS, Nic and I went to eat at Pizza Hut. We weren't that hungry, so we ordered a duo meal to share amongst the three of us. So you know how it would only have two drinks, and two soups?
HAHA.

According to Nic the waiter was a sexist AND a racist.
Sexist cos he looked at us, then gave PS and I the drinks AND the soup. Then looked at Nic (cos PS and I were giggling away) to ask him if he was okay with it.
Racist cos Nic isn't full-blooded chinese lah. Part Peranakan, like me, but mine perhaps more diluted.
More classic moments, like how they sabo-ed me to place the orders and ask for the bill by acting asleep. Ass them, HAHA.

Took 81 home with Nic, and he was getting started on ANOTHER ghost story (like YAYYY) but at that moment his soccer friends came in and started giving us evilgrins.
-.-

Who cares, I still got my ghost stories cos Nic alighted one stop early by mistake so he told them while walking me to the next bustop. I read a series of Russell Lee books but how come I don't remember the stories uh? LOL.

Reached home damn late again.
At this rate, it is impossible for me to finish (or even START, for that matter,) my holiday assignments. Econs is due friday. EOM is due tomorrow. Most of the rest the next week.

"Holiday" assignments are inane.
Note that I am still speaking very calmly. Cos in actual fact, I am struggling to keep my sanity, which my school/ MOE/ whoever is causing this is desperate to rob me of.
Fine, I'm exaggerating a little, but you get my drift.

Today was Chinese orals then BEC weight training.

I am appalled at my current Chinese oral skills. I cannot pronouce properly, AHH, got too much 'sh' for some reason. Meh.

And the convo part was just pooooopy-cock. It was like Idk-the-answer-so-I-stone-at-you-for-one-minute-then-say-Idk. My topic was on the ugly side of Singaporeans, and how we can relieve stress (no I don't think there's supposed to be a link).

Oh, and I got an E for Chinese MYE. Passed, at least.

Macs for lunch, then school gym for BEC weight training.
I was like the only freaking girl in the group who turned up lah. Tsk. LOL, anyway, YY and I were showing off to each other our muscles (biceps, to be exact) outside the gym, waiting for the previous group to finish. He act macho only. I'm the real manlymachomachoness. (:

Apparently Shah thought it was 3pm instead of 2, and Sky completely forgot. HAHA. Stayed with Shah for the next round.
Gyms are boringgggg. Usually I go and use for the treadmill only. Nehmind, I shall make the effort to use all the machines next time.

Went cycling at ECP with Shah after! Or rather learn to cycle.. Yeah, I still couldn't cycle, and I STILL can't cycle.
I'm not used to such failures.. rollerblading wasn't so hard.. it was like instantaneous. But cycling! UGH. I think it's just the age, really.

Home, late again.
EOM = screwy.
