Taking a ride with chance to my side
Sunday, December 27, 2009 @ 12:46 AM

Ahh, and today's Vanessa's birthday!

I feel like saying ENOUGH! MY TURN!
It's the time of the year where i see everyone else turn 17 before me again.
Neh-mind. Patience. Less than a week more. Not like I know how I'm gonna celebrate it if I'm even going to.

Just received Vanessa's christmas card. But this year it's from Vaneesa Chee, not Lee. HAHAHHAA Vanessas are so cute.

I'm crossing my fingers and praying I don't get weird presents. It must be hard thinking of one for me though. I don't express overt affection for objects and I'm not the girly sort to like stuffed toys or flowers. So yeah, good luck.
I really really don't mind just one hand-written card. It feels so much more genuine and personal and maybe even intimate.

Another failed day of attempting to do my hw. Damn.

I need my medicine, and the cure ain't aspirin

Yeah just came home after meeting Dewaine, the ex-bday girl cos today's Boxing day already.
Means it's Jeryl's birthday!!

LOL.
December is festive ttm.

Anyway, I was channel browsing two days back and stopped at MTV's Top 10 x 10, Hour 9 sexiest guys. It was already countingdown at 4th, Taylor Lautner, who starred in Twilight. And somehow the little voice from the corner of my head was threatening the screen to not let me see Robert Pattinson on the list. All was fine, until it came to the top position.

Yeap, he got it.
Eddie Sparkles got it. Say ewwwwwww.

Sorry, I just don't get the appeal of pale men sparkling in sunlight, and look so convincing watching girls sleep in the dead of the night that I'm almost sure he does that off-screen too. He just looks freaky. Oh well, looks are one of the most subjective things in this world.
Pattinson fans sink your teeth in me if you wish.

Okay, Imma go sleep already. If not I'll end up waking up at 2pm again like today.

OH, I need some kind soul from 2A03 (class 2010) to send me a COMPLETE list of homework. My brain just refuses to register homework. Cos it never did since primary school. Ask Joanna a.k.a. sec4 seating partner about it.

Yay it's Christmasss!! And it's also Dewaine's birthday!!!
Haha sorry guys, if i didn't reply any of your xmas texts. I was half asleep and too lazy to move my fingers, even though i was awake till 4.30am. I crashed when i went home man.

Lay at the floating platform and got a lot of mozzie bites again but it was fun watching the stars and clouds at night. And I got my first present already. (:
Haha, that reminds me, I got scammed while christmas shopping. Neh-mind. It's worth it for my fwens. It's the season of giving anyway. :D

Oh, on the 23rd at lucky plaza there was the most spastic Santa i ever saw. Damn funny. He went all ecstatic dancing spasmodically and laughing in hohohos. And the best part? He just said his last 'Merry Christmas!' and walked off. Like yeah, just walked off. To where, I don't know. HAHAHA abrupt much.

Meeting the birthday girl later! :D

We can go anywhere

I wanted to do step training today followed by holiday hw but I've done neither. I'm still a procrastinator. But I think I ate smth bad cos I've berak-ed three times today already. ):

Was just talking to ZL and i thought of next year's class again. Honestly I'm not looking forward much to it. The fun people I've been hanging out with and these people who entertain my class outings aren't going up with me (except des, ah ben and kj). Plus the class will be damn small next year. I'm almost dreading it. I don't even wish to mention the stress in J2.

I should really try to be positive. Trying.

Went to Abigail's house yesterday to do stuff for a very special group of people. Haha, supposed to be a surprise so I shan't disclose any details. Then Abi went for a musical with ahem. (:
Someone damn happy uh. LOL.

Tomorrow's a busy day again! Things just pop out in the month of December. Especially church plays and musicals. But tomorrow's both the OGL bonding/ discussion session from afternoon till night, as well as celebration of hoong's and SY's bday, also a whole day.
Opportunity cost is gonna be the OGL outing i guess..

Oh well. Don't really feel like bonding with the pegasus OGLs anyway. Reason not to be discussed here.

Losing touch

Lao Cai pics are up on Facebook!

Woke up bloddy early this morning for a 10-min OGL briefing in school lol. Took 2 cabs for that. -.- But the first didn't know the way so he dropped me off. Double -.-

Discussed stuff after the briefing on somewhat our own accord. Found out who most of the other Pegasus OGLs were. I think that's enough said for now.

Went to macs with Jessica and Nurul then back to school to get Desiree and our rollerblades and off to ECP!
Alas, my 6-month craving for rollerblading, satisfied.

But I think my blades too tight already. Needa buy new one after A's next year when I'll be sure to start rollerblading again.

Slacked and chatted by the sea for hours, then went to PP's Borders with the initial intention to get a new pencilbox but thy didn't sell the metal ones so Desiree and I went to read some random books. Psychology was my choice of course. Alongside a couple of other random books of which my attention span lasted less than 10% of the book. Ahh I still love Psychology. I learnt new stuff today! Like how the definition of Psychology is the science of the behavior of organisms. And the Sigmund Freud guy. And how psychologists can be anti-psychiatrists as shown in the study where 7 psychologists attempted to be warded into a mental hospital and acted normal, giving the only symptom of abnormality as 'hearing voices'. When they later admitted to being normal, it took 3 weeks for the staff to be convinced. When told of the study, 19 genuine patients were then suspected by the staff as normal.
I read all these only once through, so if there're any errors, uh, yeah.. I don't know why I just regurgitated everything anyway. I just got carried away. If only my memory worked this way while I study for geog, history and ECONS.
Can't believe I'm going to J2, never having passed a single test or exam for Econs. Scary.

Met toot for dinner, slacked at home, then toot went home.
Tootnight! :D

Back from Vietnam!

I feel a bit different after these 9 days. In a good way, I guess. Learnt many many lessons, but I feel like I'm starting to forget them already.

I first realised the change when I was reading back on my blog posts. I guess I can sound damn irritating sometimes. Especially when I'm ranting lol. Maybe I should stay simple and down-to-earth as when I first started blogging. Like really blogging, probably sometime in december 2007 when I was in Aus trying to document my precious days there. I forget my purpose of my blog way too often. I just wanted to keep my memories and thoughts somewhere, before they get washed away to that desolate, forsaken corner of my brain. Not to entertain in any way, or to insult anyone.

Can't believe I was blind to my irritatingness for so long lol. Don't know what happened in Vietnam to make me see this when I come back. A bit no link uh. HAHA oh well. Life lessons work in deep ways.

Aaaanyway, my 9 days there was pretty awesome, with 3 days of climbing Fansipan, 3 days of CIP and homestay, and a day of Hanoi. The rest was like fill-in days with the train, bus and plane. Conquering Fansipan would be the coolest and most obvious achievement, since it's my first mountain to climb. Haha, being Singaporean makes me so deprived of mountains. CIP and the homestay taught me the most, ploughing the land and interacting with Viet kids and stuff like that.
I can't exactly tell you what I felt and learnt from these events cos lessons've got to be experienced, not told.

So yeah, I'm pretty lazy and tired and it's almost 1am now so Imma go sleep and try post pics tmr or smth.

I REALISED BLOGGER NOW SUPPORTS MAC! YAYYYY!!! :D

Will be gone to Vietnam till 15th! :D
