It's like a bedtime story

Friday:
Met Dewaine, Heydi and Heydi's friend and went to SRJC's open house. Seriously; it looks like no one really wants to go there. Cos their open house is erm...well, not very well-received from what I saw.

But it's kinda good that way since you get attention as an individual. You get your own guides who are pretty friendly and helpful, even though Dewaine and I didn't really have the intention of entering the school.

Left after about an hour, then went to Orchard.

Dewaine and I kinda 'drifted' away from Heydi and her friend so we shopped on our own before meeting Glen and his friend.

I don't know Glen but I think I've met him before at the DXO Rock On thing. Not sure..but I know that was where I first got to know Jillyn. And because the world is so small and Singapore is way smaller, our social circles overlap and one friend knows another without you knowing. Ok, that just sounded rather confusing.

Glen's friend actually shook hands and introduced himself. So formal. I've never seen a peer do it, lol. Went shopping altogether, and dewaine, I think I wanna buy that plain white shoe with the cool sole. HAHA.

Spent that afternoon with the three of them, then took the train home. ALL BY MYSELF. Ahh, so tormentous. Especially when it's peak hour and you're being helplessly violated untill you cannot be further violated, and this China woman has to randomly jump and smash herself in just before the door closes, causing the indian man in front of you to step on your slipper. She was wearing this blue cheongsam with LACEY LEGGINGS that ended at her knees. OMG. And she still dared to say SHIT! when she smashed herself in.
Can I throw shit at her?
No, just kidding.

(And I just got reminded of wednesday when the train was relatively quiet and suddenly there was shouting. At first we thought "Whoa, what language is that?" then you realise it's Chinese. With the bloddy strong China accent. And she was freaking screaming over the phone like the world was gonna end if she didn't do it. Geez. So disturbing. And I don't know why, maybe it's just me, but China women dress really horribly.)

Saturday:
Went to Ngee Ann Poly's open house with Alina, Sarah, Dewaine and Rachel, and the number of people who went for the open house was like, 1000 times more than that who went for SRJC's. Well, maybe cos it's a poly, or maybe cos there was the campus superstar thing.

Walked around the school, which is practically a hill. Yea, we didn't take the tour bus. We're not that old yet.

All in all, I still don't think I'd go there cos it's so freaking far.

Went to Orchard again with Dewaine, and when we were walking past Wisma, this guy with an accent came to us and said he was from imodels international. He gave us his card and took down our contacts. BUT, I've decided to reject them if they ever call. Cos I heard a freaking portfolio is $680. Rip-off much?

And, I think this guy's blog is damn helpful.

So yea, anyway I don't have ambitions of being a model. I want something more practical and something I can boast about, and when I say something I can boast about, I mean based on my smarts.

Well anyway we shopped around, popped by the shop where Alger was working at, but it's kinda cool, cos like I don't have any fate at all with the Ng borthers, so like yea.. Cos you see,

1. I'm online A LOT, and they're online really rarely. (Except recently) But when I sign out, they happen to sign in, and vice versa.

2. When looking for the shop, we actually walked right past the shop he was working in and started searching from the other end.

No fate is pretty cool when it's this exaggerating.

Went to eat at Yoshinoya then went to sit outside NgeeAnn City. Then this woman came to ask to do this really long survey. Was about advertisements about this drug-free thing. Was so disorganised though. Oh, and one of the questions was about my monthy income, so the options ranged from 'up to $750' to 'above $10 000'. And I was thinking about MY income as a student, so I chose the first option, HAHA, then I thought more after saying it, then said WAIT! Is it for my parents or myself? Then she said my enitire family. =.= How retarded was my answer? Anyway, I looked at the options again, but no point anyway, cos I didn't exactly know how much my parents earn. Well, obviously more than $750 lah, DUH.

Then she took down my contacts for verification purposes. I gave my phone number to two strangers today. o__o
