You know how you're expected to go out and play after your O's?
Like, at least three times a week?
But now, whenever I ask someone if they can go out on some day, all I get is:
"Oh, I'm working! haha"
or
"Nah, I'm going to _(name of foreign country)_ "
or
"Ahh, sorry, I'm already going out with _(name of some other person)_"
Plus, it doesn't help that your best friend seems to be grounded. For life.
But the most common has got to be the working one.
Seriously! I'm not asking you to be a parasite of the society/ a bum but WORKING EVERY WEEKDAY IS SUCH A SPOILER.
And I'm not saying there's anything wrong with working and earning some extra money (since your parents already take responsibility for your food and lodging). But.. not to the extent of neglecting your friends, please.
Sigh.
Fine, be that way. Go work and waste your youth.
I'm only gonna get a job after i get my A levels/ diploma. Anyway by then it'll be easier to get a higher-paying job.
Oh yea, I saw this job online when I was at SarahL's house, it was to wear this fullbody costume (I was thinking Barney) and give out flyers. And guess what; you gotta have at least an A level cert to do that!

And to the many friends this post is directed to, it's actually okay, I don't need you that much already. Cos I've got my cousin and friends who are coming from Adelaide. They can go shopping, rollerblading, ice-skating with me.
OKAY YEA, I CONFESS, I'M ANGRY AT ALL OF YOU.
DON'T ANTAGONIZE ME ALREADY. MAYBE I'M CHILDISH BUT IT'S NATURAL TO FEEL ANGRY WHEN YOU EXPECT TO GO OUT WITH ALL YOUR FRIENDS DURING THE HOLIDAYS AND THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING SO MUNDANE AS WORKING.
Tell me when you're all over and done with your stupid jobs please. Cos I want my friends back.
