Class party! Or group party..
Friday, November 21, 2008 @ 4:48 PM

Yesterday was the 'class party', but only like, ten plus people came, lol.

It was supposed to be a pot luck, so desiree came to my house to cook mac and cheese according to vanessa's recipe.. Throughout the cooking process I was like 'omg..I hope no one dies from eating this.." Cos I got a C for my Home Econs. HAHA.

Took the bus to East Coast Park with desiree and the second bus was super empty, we put our legs on the chairs opposite us.
When we reached, only a few people were there at the picnic bench, and Desiree had to leave super early. Cleo and the rest came, so we decided to rollerblade a bit while waiting for the others. Met Annalisa a distance from the bench, and she tried to give me a hug (with my rollerblades on), but I got shocked and fell. HAHA. But I fell gently cos she was still kinda holding on to me. And I quote Samantha Lum:
"Then we all standing in one line, like watching show like that"
(the people at the bench).
So embarrassing, hahaha, but I don't really care.

After which, Cleo, Sarah, S.Lum, Alina and Randi came to rollerblade also, but in the group, only Sarah, Cleo and I knew how to rollerblade. (The other people in the class cycled) But not like I'm very pro either. So we kinda took turns to help those who didn't know how to rollerblade.

Rollerbladed for really long, and while those on bikes went to bedok jetty, we rollerbladers stopped for ice kachang :D. So shiok, I tell you.
Oh, earlier before I started rollerblading, I scratched my hand on the stone chair (I've no idea why it was so rough) so I asked Randi for a plaster. And that plaster fell and flew away when I was rollerblading, LOL.
We decided to rollerblade back since the rented blades had to be returned soon. Crossed the stonestone floors which where almost impossible to rollerblade on, then went back to the shop where they rented the rollerblades from.

Lent Annalisa my blades while Alina, Cleo and I went to the Marine Bowl for the toilet, since according to Cleo, the one at Macs was too crowded.
Saw this pro rollerblading guy wearing a kinda thick jacket, and I said (kinda loudly) "Isn't he hot?" Then everyone turned around and went like OMG, Constance!
But the thing is, I meant the wearing-jacket-in-hot-weather hot, not the good-looking-guy hot. LOL. Seriously..

We all gathered back at the bench, and DESIREE! VANESSA! OUR MAC AND CHEESE WAS A SUCCESS! It was literally scraped clean from the container! YAYYY! And I was so scared I had to bring home leftovers, haha.
Admired the sunset together, went to take pics, then headed to the Marine Bowl again for the arcade. They did the para para dance thing, and the DDR. Yea, I did have that mat connected to a playstation (or something like a playstation) and played DDR on it. Super long ago already.

Left the arcade and waited outside Macs for my mum, and this group of malay guys came and stared at me as they walked past. I mean like, STARE stare, not glance stare. I hate it when they do that. When you're so upclose somemore. I hate Singaporean guys generally lah, ok? As though it's not hard enough finding a good-looking one, it's harder to find one with basic courtesy/ gentlemanliness. SERIOUSLY SPEAKING.
Okay, that's it, I'm so migrating.
Nah, kidding, I won't migrate cos of guys. I'm not that desperate. It's just that they get so much on my nerves sometimes, I wish the world was just made up of females. And we can all be/become lesbians. o__o
Gosh, what am I saying.

Anyway, this couple came and stood in front of me, like yea directly IN FRONT, just that their backs were facing me. They started hugging each other, and soon after, they started making out. Like WHAT THE EFF, are you kidding me? Making out in front of a kid?! (I'm still under 16). Obviously I had the courtesy to look away, cos anyway if I didn't I might have lost control of myself and thrown my empty container at their heads. GOSH. At least like, do it in the bushes nearby? Or wait till you're home? At least anywhere but right in front of a kid? Some adults...sigh...

The guy looked like a kid from far somemore.. cos he's so bloddy short, he's almost my height. No shit bout that. Even his girlfriend was freaking taller than him. And the girlfriend! OMG. She was wearing these knee-length pants that looked like tights, and her matching top was equally skin-tight. If her figure was something I would be envious of, I wouldn't mind. But sadly, it wasn't the case. And I shall not elaborate lest I lose my appetite for my dinner later.

And I'm not done! While I was looking the other way cos I simply couldn't bear the sight of these two people hugging and being so intimate, I suddenly heard "You waiting for taxi ah?"
I turned to face that guy, and said "huh?" more cos I was surprised at his tone to a stranger than cos I didn't hear him. (I mean, where was his 'excuse me'?) Then he repeated in his broken english accent (or, if you prefer, strong Singaporean accent) "Excuse me, you waiting for taxi ah?" rather roughly. I know I sound so un-patriotic by emphasizing on his Singaporean accent even though I do speak in a Singaporean accent when speaking to most fellow Singaporeans because I myself am a Singaporean and there's nothing wrong with the Singaporean accent to start with, but like, his tone! His tone that he speaks in which I find awfully rude! I mean, when speaking to a stranger (even one younger than you), you gotta like, at least try to sound polite instead of just going "You waiting for taxi ah?" in a fast and rough tone without even trying to get my attention first (cos I was looking the other way). And yea, honestly, while the Singaporean accent can make you sound more friendly, it can make you sound more rude as well.

So my point is, I am sick of a lot of Singaporean adults and wish they would be more examplary to the younger generation through the way they speak and carry out their actions.
So no more appalling behavior, please.

Okay, I digressed way too much (3 paragraphs! How engrossed was I?). So yea, my mum saw that I cut my hair, and when I told her I cut it myself, she didn't belive and went like "Really?? You don't bullshit."
HAHA.

Oh, I will post some pics soon, after I kapok from people. TEEHEE.
